When I first heard the word ‘foodie’ I thought it was a euphemism for fat, like ‘big-boned’ or ‘husky’.\u00a0 “He’s a nice boy, he’s just a foodie”<\/p>\n
Now I understand that being a foodie is a good thing.<\/p>\n
For me, though, it’s not just about enjoying food (which I do) but it’s also about the experiences surrounding food.\u00a0 It seems that most of my most cherished memories or favorite stories involve food in one way, shape or form.<\/p>\n
I’ve also come to realize that I’m not alone in this.\u00a0 Many of my friends and family have a similar outlook on food and the important part it plays in our lives.\u00a0 Because of this shared love of food and eating I’ve asked others to join me in telling their food-related stories.<\/p>\n
