in Laduree.\u00a0 This is the restuarant and not the shop on the Champs-Elys\u00e9es.\u00a0 On a typical Adventures by Disney London and Paris trip this would be our last night of the vacation, not just our last night in Paris.\u00a0 Because this is a special trip designed for <a title=\"Dreams Unlimited Travel\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com\" target=\"_blank\">Dreams Unlimited Travel<\/a> we will actually depart bright and early the next morning for Disneyland Paris where our adventure continues.\u00a0 Tonight we get to eat, drink and enjoy each others company for one last night in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Having done this trip twice now we knew what to expect of the venue itself.\u00a0 The front is a small store (that was left open an hour later than usual so we could shop) and the back is a very unusual dining room.\u00a0 Decorated in over-the-top colors and wall murals you feel more like you&#8217;re in a Chinese Restuarant rather than a Parisian establishment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/interior1-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1673\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1673\" title=\"interior1\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/interior11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/interior2-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1671\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1671\" title=\"interior2\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/interior21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The food, on the other hand, was a surprise.\u00a0 It wasn&#8217;t as if we had bad food the last time we ate here &#8211; we just didn&#8217;t remember it being this good!!\u00a0 The food at Laduree was one of the best meals we had in Paris so far, and rivals others we have had along the trip.<\/p>\n<p>We started with appetizers that were delivered on a tiered silver tray.\u00a0 Very fancy!!\u00a0 There were three different kinds; tomato and mozzarella with pesto sause, guacamole infused profiteroles and a small pie-shaped appetizer that was a bit of a discussion at first.\u00a0 Some thought it was beef tartar and others thought it was salmon &#8211; in the end we were told it was tomato.\u00a0 All were good, not great, but good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/appetizers1\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1684\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1684\" title=\"appetizers1\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/appetizers1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/appetizers2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1683\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1683\" title=\"appetizers2\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/appetizers2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next came our main courses.\u00a0 This is where we were all blown away.\u00a0 The flavors were complex and delicious.\u00a0 Everyone loved what they ordered.\u00a0\u00a0I had a chance to taste everyone&#8217;s dish and I have to say it was difficult picking the best one as they were all extremely delicious.<\/p>\n<p>I ordered the Sea Bass which was served over root vegetables in a creamy buttery sauce.\u00a0 Holy smokes was this good!!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/sea_bass\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1687\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1687\" title=\"sea_bass\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sea_bass.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Someone else at our table ordered the mushroom risotto.\u00a0 Incredible!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/rissoto\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1689\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1689\" title=\"rissoto\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rissoto.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next there was a vegetable lasagna.\u00a0 This one surprised me.\u00a0 When I saw it as a choice for dinner I skipped it thinking it wasn&#8217;t going to be good.\u00a0 Boy was I wrong!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/vegetable_lasagna\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1691\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1691\" title=\"vegetable_Lasagna\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/vegetable_Lasagna.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last choice for dinner was prawns over puffed pastry.\u00a0 This one surprised me when it came out.\u00a0 The pastry resembled Texas Toast and the prawns were so big I thought they would be tough.\u00a0 Nothing could be further from the truth.\u00a0 The pastry was flaky and the prawns were tender and delicious.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/prawns\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1693\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1693\" title=\"prawns\" src=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/prawns.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then came the desserts.\u00a0 We had a choice of a chocolate cake, a caramel pastry and what looked like a giant macaron filled with strawberries.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not a big dessert person but I had a chance to try all three and they were very good.\u00a0 Everyone enjoyed what they had.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/foodietales.com\/2012\/10\/foodie-travels-london-and-paris-laduree\/dessert_chocolate_cake\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1711\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" everyone at our table.\u00a0 I topped off the evening with a beautiful cup of espresso.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
